The wide selection of choices in BBQ grills and other outdoor kitchen items from DCS make their products your go-to choice for your new outdoor kitchen build.
The DCS Grill Difference
At a high level, the major distinctions are that DCS barbecue grills utilize ceramic rods instead of briquettes to distribute the radiant heat, offer multiple height cooking levels, and have unique and highly effective multi-purpose grates. This summary relates specifically to the following traits:
Dual-Rail Design: The multi-level placement of the grates across the heat source means you can cook with charcoal and gas on the same grill surface. The grates are designed to be different heights off the heat source and deliver heat appropriately without over-charing the food.
Radiant Heat:Ceramic rods placed over the burners heat up and deliver radiant heat to the food while quickly burning off any drippings to prevent flare-ups. These rods are unique in an industry where everyone uses briquettes. Easy to replace and clean, you get effective cooking and new-age features.
Sear System: The round grate design, wide grate gapping, and sear burners that use tightly spaced ignition ports ensure intense searing heat to char your meat and poultry.
Multi-Use Grates: Heavy-made double-sided grates have different surfaces on the top and bottom. W-styled grates on top capture grease and funnel it away from the food to prevent flare-ups. Reverse the grates, and the smooth curved back is perfect for searing more delicate items like fish and vegetables.
North American Made: The factory that designs these luxurious grills is based in Huntington Beach Southern California, where the entire design team is located. The actual manufacturing occurs in the DCS Mexico facility.
Top DCS Gas Grill Collections & How They Differ
Series 7: This series has tons of premium features, making it a top choice for the upper-middle portion of the market. Few grills have so many impressive features outside their top-line models, but DCS makes the exception. The ceramic rods, u-burners, grease management system, and sear burners are identical to the top-line models. The same grade of stainless steel is also sourced for both collections. This series does not include the full-led package and lighted control knobs. It also utilizes the more traditional standard continuous spark starter, which requires no external power source other than a regular 9V battery.
Series 9: The ultra-premium series includes the full LED lighting package that illuminates the knobs and interior as well as the hot surface ignition system. This ignition system does not use a spark like the Series 7 but instead acts like a small infrared burner that heats up immediately to a level that ignites the gas from the burners. The benefit of this ignition system is that you can light your grill in extreme wind and rain, and there will never be a problem. The Series 9 also includes the 2-level racks and tray setup.
